Started to get messages about rear parking sensors being obstructed needs wiping! 2016 2500 tradesman were are they located? And anybody else getting random messages on the screen not in park when the truck is in drive, and the message about the parking sensors?

I got the parking sensor message yesterday. It was because they had ice on them from the freezing rain. They are the round sensors in the bumper.

I could be wrong but you should also have a switch under the radio that permits you to temporarily turn off the sensors if driving in snow or ice conditions. Whenever I'm running in snow up north, the sensors will get coated with a thick layer of snow if you're driving for long periods of time. Just press the button on the dash and it will quit giving you the message until you either press the button again to reactive them or restart the truck. It should refer to this in that bundle in your glove box which may still have plastic wrapping on it from the factory. :) Happens to all of us. First Ram with backup sensors did this when I was in Alaska. I'd stop every few miles and brush them off thinking I was having a serious system malfunction. After stopping for the fifth time and the wife getting out to brush them off (thinking I was completely incapable of performing the job correctly as I'd done it four times already), she decided she would crack open the sealed owners manual and read it for the next 150 miles. Been with that gal for thirty years now and I still get asked if I read the instructions, the manual or the label!
