rear rotor removal

I have a 2003 dodge ram dual rear wheel. I need to replace rear rotors. do you have to pull the axle shafts out to remove the rear rotor? HELP

I didn't on mine. I don't think the dually is different. (I moved this from the FAQ forum)

On the dually

You have to remove the axle shafts, axle nut lock ring and square lock key.

Do yourself a favour and have these parts on hand first.

Rotors

wheel / hub seals

park brake shoes

park brake shoe hardware

Rotors are bolted to the hubs from the backside

Adjust your park brake shoes through the slots on the rear of the backing plates BEFORE you reinstall the wheels.
