Was wondering if any of you guys have had problems with the durability of the rear seats in the Quad cabs. Haven't had any problems with mine yet but the padding and springs don't look like they would hold up under much weight, kinda thin. Maybe it's stronger than it looks, hope so. Anybody ever rebuild or reupholster theirs?

They Do Look Low Quality...

I figured that the back seat was more for kids and camping gear, but when I had an accident :{ last summer, I had to ride about 600 miles in the back seat. The seat is not as flimsy as it looks. I was surprised that it was relatively comfortable. (Of course I used the whole seat and had pillows to boot. ) If you had the money, it would be cool to recover it in leather, but that will be a long time (hopefully) for me. Still not much leg room, but enough for short trips. I guess that's why some other makes have four real doors. I do like the Quad Cab though. :)

Durability of the back seat is directly related to the intensity and duration of stress placed on it from... rough rides. The tinted glass shouldn't wear out though.
