Rear seat in QC will not fold up completely

I just got a new to me '04. 5 and the rear seat on the passenger side (the larger portion of it) will not fold all the way up. It did when I first got the truck, but now will only go about 1/3 of the way up and then acts like it hits something or is locked. Has anyone else had this happen or know what to do about it? I've poked around on the hinges and can't find anything that looks like it's keeping the seat from working properly. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I had that happen one time. One of the seat belt buckles had gotten pushed down between the seat bottom and back.

A little off the subject, but not too much. I would like to know if anyone knows of a link on the web or a source where I could try to purchase a Dodge 04 or 05 year model (they have the rear headrest) 60/40 split rear bench seat at a reasonable price ( color dark slate). Something other than the dealership parts dept they want your first born as down payment. I've checked Ebay off and on with no luck, maybe I'm not searching in the right place. You can PM me if you have a source known.

No problem, actually I might be able to help you out on your quest for an '04 or '05. Any other specifics in mind for the truck - i. e. trans, LB vs. SB, '04 vs. '04. 5 & '05? Let me know...

Thanks for the suggestion - no dice though. My seat belts are all free. Sounds like it's hitting something in the center side hinge.

i think he meant he wanted just the rear seat.
