Rear Seat Removal

Hello all... I'm going to add some sound-deadening material to the back of the cab and floors of my truck soon, and found a thread telling how to remove the front seats, but not the rear seat-back.

Can someone help?

Lift up the seats, there are some bolts on the floor. Pull the bolts, including the ones in the middle. Lift the whole seat straight up (there is a hook fitting on the back of the cab and the deat fits into it) and find a clean place to put it. There you go. Very easy. Good luck!

Also, if you do a search, there is a thread from some time back where someone found a cheaper way to do soundproofing at Lowes. Saves some money, more money for fuel!!

Hey... thanks for asking, got bogged down with other projects... am trying to get it done in the next 3 weeks, though, before we head from CA to IL with the Fifth-Wheel.

I'll post progress pics when I actually get it done! lol
