Rear seat storage platform

The folding metal platform that is an available option under the split rear seat of the '03s would be much to my liking, but the dealer tells me I have to install the split folding seat to get it and I'm not willing to shell out the bucks for this convenience. Is there now or will there be something comparable from the aftermarket?

Well, here's a question. I've only looked at trucks with the premium cloth (split folding rear seat) and load floor. . Does the non-premium cloth rear seat fold up at all? If not, that'd be an obstacle for any aftermarket load floor.



IMHO, the premium cloth is well worth it. . You get the better fabric, split rear seat, under armrest front storage, and power driver's seat for $450 or so. Seems like a good deal even if the rear load floor is $100 on top of that.

Yeah, the standard seat folds up with the same underseat storage as the split seat. I asked the dealer about installing the split seat, load rack setup, but they told me this would be around $1000 and that their cost was over $800. 400 bucks and I would have gone for it, but not a grand.

Dunno what to say. . The premium cloth group was $455 or so on my order and the load floor another $100.
