Rear slider leaking

So my truck has not been smelling very good inside lately. It has been raining very hard here for the last week. Today I started looking around. I had my wife hold a garden hose on the top of the truck and I watched the water come in like a waterfall.



It is leaking where the slider window comes shut. It is like when the window comes closed the seal is not thick enough to keep the water out.



I am taking it to the glass shop in the morning to see if they have any fixes.



I am hoping someone has had this problem and can tell me how they fixed and that it has held. I am tired of my truck smelling inside.



If there is not a good fix I will have them order a new window and out the slider will go.

I feel for ya. My 97 had the same problem. I am so glad I opted for the solid window this time. Good luck to you. Also, check around the third brake light... there were problems with those leaking too.
