Hey guys.

Just pulled my moldy carpet out and want to put new rear speakers in. I have the infinity system. The rear speakers i guess are 6 inch on a club cab, anyone recommend a good speaker (aftermarket). I want something that sounds good and doesnt cost way to much but I want atlast pioneer quality or sony something a brand name...

thanks

erik

Rear speaks are 5 1/4" rounds. I would recommend Boston Acoustics or MB Quart. You should be able to pick up a relatively cheap set offa ebay...

On another note, as I have already upgraded my rears, the positioning of the speakers is pretty crappy, and you have to crank up the power to them to hear them over the fronts. I have a set of small boxed speakers I plan to mount up by the clothes hanger hook, off the top of the plastic surround. This should spread the auditory goodness around. .

good luck

The Rockford Fosgate 5 . 5 is the rear door speaker size and they are farely inexpensive for the quality. Boston is good, but if you are not doing a full upgrade, you will not have near the power you need to enjoy a really high end speaker, try the Power Series Fosgates, you can pick them up at a best buy for about 90 a set.

One said the size is 5. 5 and one said it is 5 1/4? Which one is it lol?

Ya, im going to to upgrading the headunit to a good quality one with atleast 50 Watts X 4... . No amps or subs. I just want an overall good sounding system that I can play loud at times, not very often though :)

Thanks

Erik
