I have been searching all morning for old posts on this and haven't found one that had a solution. I have a 92 D-350 and with a rebuilt front end and new springs the front end is just taller than the rear without a load. I would like to increase the rear ride heigth for looks when unloaded and to keep the nose down when towing. I have a pretty substantial trailer I tow and I really need to keep and/or increase rear load capacity. I have considered adding maybe two inch blocks and airbags. I would really like to hear from someone who has solved this problem and can relay their experiences. If money was no object I would just go to full rear air-ride! But, that's not an option now. Thanks guys!

Air bags will stop the rear from droping when loaded. That is up to 5k in weight. The bags work prettty good. The only experence I have with them is on a friends truck. He has a 1/2 ton. If you put over 500 punds on it. It saged real bad. Now with the air bags it can be brought up to level with the twist of a dial. He plumbed for in cab air controlls.

You do need to keep a small amount of air in the bags by what the mfg's state.
