One of my co-workers just got a 2010 Ram and it has a factory installed one. Nice but it is a pain to keep it clean this time of year witht the snow melting. You would have to get out and wipe it clean before you could see anything in it. Shadrach

My dad has that one. He mounted the camera to his tool box to aline his fith wheel up to the king pin on his travel trailer and with the tailgate off he also uses it to aline the ball to coupler on his bumper pulls.

If you're thinking of installing a back-up camera in your '09, and if you have the REC nav. system, then I have a solution for you. If you were wanting to install it in your '98. 5, then I can't give you any help. You can email me at -- email address removed --

I needed one a few days ago. I backed into a light pole at the gas plant where I was working and broke the right tail light and bent the sheet metal under the lens. It would have been a lot cheaper to buy a back up camera!

I hear ya. I put a kink in the bumper of my 2nd gen trying to get close to a light pole. Would have been nice to have a camera then too.
