Rear Window Defroster???

I saw, in one of my brochures, that rear window defrost is available as on option. But, when I "built" my truck on-line, it did not mention it as an option. To investigate, I looked at some trucks on my local dealer's lot and saw a few trucks had the button. But, I did not see any heating elements, etc. on the rear windows.



Is there such a thing (or is the button for something else)? How does it work (if there are no "wires")? Does it come standard with certain order packages? Is it available on both rear window options (sliding or not)?

The button is for the mirrors, it has a defrost emblem on it. There are a couple of heater buttons for the seats as well.

The rear window defrost is late availability and only with fixed glass. Not available if you want sliding window. Gee I sure am smart.

That might work out good for me, as it'll be another month or so before I order. I absolutely do not want the sliding window.



I'm still trying to see where I saw it. I'm going back through the brochures I have to no avail. Maybe it was a Ford one.
