HI All,

I have a 2003 diesel 2500 ram quad cab. I've been starting to get water in the back of the rear seat. I have a slider window in the back, but I have noticed on youtube that there is a thing called an apeture that allows air to exit the cab when you close the door.

I'm going to tear the rear seat of out the truck to see if I can see a leak on the window or the apeture.

(youtube link for reference: 68323649AB - Genuine Mopar EXHAUSTER-BODYSIDE Aperture)

Has anyone else run into this apeture being the issue??

Thanks

I haven't had any issue, but as old as these trucks are parts will need to be replaced that normal vehicles use over their lifetime. I've only seen these "Vents" on vehicles after wrecks from behind bumpers and body panels or cab/chassis trucks.

Are you noticing water or moisture at the bottom of the seats?

More then likely it's the 3rd Brakelight, they are notorious for leaking.
Vents are installed from the outside, snapped in, bed needs to come off to access them. Slide window guide has drains at the outer ends to empty the channel were it slides in, if plugged it would drain to the inside.
