Is this something a farmer boy can do? How does the full [no slider] rear window come out?
I found a leak at the top.
I would like to tint the window for a cooler cab. Might be a good time for this!
Thanks in advance!!

The opening should be the same size, I have never had to remove the window but I think it is held in with the rubber ring around it, I don't know if it would come in and out like old style rear windows years ago. As far as tinting, its pretty simple just make sure your windows are really clean. I would tint it before I reinstalled it back into the truck. Sorry I could not be more help.

Wasn't the old one factory tinted? Salvage yard and fine one already tinted and use a new gasket would be effective.

That is weird, like it has been replaced once already. Both of our trucks came with factory tinted rear windows.

If you want to tackle it yourself when it is out that would be the time to do it or take it to a glass shop and have them tint and replace the seal. If I had to buy the seal I would get it form the Mopar wholesale site online. Not sure there is a difference between OE and good quality aftermarket pieces.

Mine is Glued in, I know it because i changed it. That what you call a seal is only outside and is for looking good.

Check the Third breaklight for its seal, they are prone to leak.

Thanks! I sprayed water on the window and on the light when i had my head liner out and the water was coming in on the left side.
