Hello

Has anyone had any experience with removal/replacement of the rear window? Mine leaks pretty bad and I figure removing and resealing it will take care of the leaks. I have zero automotive glass experience, so if anyone has any input I'd appreciate it.

Thanks

Vic

karma!! I was just about to post the same inquiry!!

I, too, want to learn what I can about removing my rear sliding window so I can finally install the power slider I bought used a couple years ago before it gets broken in my storage shed.

I put off procrastinating as long as I can... :-laf

OK, oh Wizened Ones, what's the best technique besides a hammer? ;)

Older trucks - just push out. to install put a rope in the gasket groove, rope tail at middle of bottom edge. Set window on bottom edge from the outside and press in. Then have someone pull the rope from the inside to pull the gasket in. spray soap to make it slide.
