I went out and picked up my new boat engines last weekend and had the fork lifted into the bed of my 03 3500 dually for the trip home. They are bolted into stands and bolted to pallets. The guy that was unloading the motor closest to the window accidentally tipped the pallet forward and the blower pulley went right through the window filling the cab with glass!! Even broke the tail light... ... It took me hours to get all of the glass out of the truck. The new slider window as $400 bucks from mopar and the 3rd light lense was $67, and install of the glass costed $70!!! Ouch. Thank god he didnt drop the motors though.

That stinks, it sounds as though there was no body damage though and I'm guessing you didn't have to pay?

When my 93 was about two years old my wife bought a pallet of bricks and the store placed it at the back of the bed. As soon as she had to hit the brakes hard those bricks broke their shrink rap and migrated to the back seat of the cab (they did seem more comfortable there), thankfully My 5 year old son was not sitting their at the time as it pushed the whole back of the cab in and blew glass all the way up into the A/C ducts.

What was the icing on the cake? The store said they would have delivered them for FREE :{ .

I actually paid the damage myself, I didnt want the insurance company to raise my premium. The guy running the fork lift was a buddy.
