rear window wiper arm Ford

My wife's 2002 Escape needs to have the rear window wiper arm replaced. I have bought the arm and figured that an a parts book page would show me how to remove and replace with the new arm. For the life of me, I can not see any type of fastener that holds this on. To me this looks like an interference fit were the arm is pressed on to the splined shaft. Nothing will retain this arm other then an interference fit. Is this correct? Has any one out there replaced an arm on any other SUV rear window of this type of design? If this is any interference fit, do I need a puller of some sort?
