I broke my left sliding window on my 97 2500. Actually my 4 wheeler rolled into it and it exploded into a million pieces.

DC does not sell parts and pieces to the privacy glass. My glass code is M64. Does anyone out there have a removed, extra rear left hand slider for the camper windows that they want to sell? I can get a whole new window for 280. 00. Hate to tho if I can just get the left hand side.

I'm not sure, but doubt DC will sell just the section of glass you need (it's more profitable for them to sell you the whole sliding rear window for what did you say..... $280  ) You might want to call some auto glass/windshield shops and see what they can do for you. You'd think the separate sections of glass are available aftermarket since I bet insurance companies probably will only cover replacement of the actual broken section and nothing more

rear glass

If you can tell me where to find the code, I've got about 12 complete sliding rear windows, brand new with gaskets, for $60 bucks each. They are supposed to fit 95-98 trucks. Let me know if interested.

jjdiesel,

The code is generally on the right hand side very lower corner on the outside, on the left side same place but on the insid. There will be a DOT number and another number starting with "M". So far the only ones that I have seen are M64 and M61.

Are they aftermarket or OEM? Single sliding or double sliding?

Thanks,

WD

1tuffram,

DC does sell the seperate pieces but only for the normal cab trucks. Nothing for the extended or club cab with privacy glass.

Guess I'm confused here, why would DC only sell the separate sliding rear window glass sections for a regular cab and not extended or quad cabs?? They should all use the same rear sliding window don't they?

The privacy glass you mention, is that the side windows on the extended and quad cabs?

Yep, that is the colour.

Why DC only sells glass for the regular cab and not the quad and the club cab is beyond me. Another of their "better Ideas" Who knows what they think. Maybe it's a gimmic to get some more of our hard earned money out of our pockets. Kinda like designed obsolence(sp).

They are OEM, double slide. The guy worked at Chrysler here in St. Louis and somehow wound up with 17 units. I've seen them... they are brand new. Don't know what shipping would cost, I'll check that out.
