Try adding another bottle of "friction Modifier". Use the stuff from the Dodge dealers. Its the best. Make sure the correct amount for the rearend was added.
I`ve had different lubes in the rear end since new. I`ve found some will make the rear differential "Pop" & "chatter" more than others, even with the proper (and more) amount of whale Oil.
Amsoil Series 2000 75W-90 is by far the quietest. I only had to had 4 oz of whale oil to clean up the chatter. This is amazing.
Torco 75W-90 was terrible. Red Line same thing. These are 10 bucks a quart lubes! I must have put almost twice the recommended amount of whale oil in with the above lubes. Still chattered. Too much additive is no good either.
