Rearended by Suburban!

Some jerk in a suburban, not paying attention, rearended me last week.....



The whole front of the suburban was MUNCHED! Had to be towed off... .



Damage to mine... He bent my drop hitch... BARLEY touched my bumper with a bolt... (small round dent. . 1/4" dia maybe 1/16" indented)... . AND NOTHING ELSE!



Insurance is settling for $750... (new bumper)



I buffed out the dent... will straighten it out then cover the bare metal... replace drop hitch... Cost $30 max... .



So... What should I get with the rest??? Hmmmm



God I love this truck!!!!!!

I got backed into on new years eve by a TRACTOR TRAILER!!! :--) :{

It was over $900. 00 for the estimate. If I didnt point it out, nobody would be able to tell. The bumper had a small scratch, as did the grill, top plastic piece on the bumper, and the gray lower piece. Sounds worse than it is.

I'm putting the $$$ towards a new bumper from Ute.

How's that for a PITA situation: one that you can brag about! I always leave the drop hitch & ball in the receiver; it's the "tailgater educator"!

I just keep my pintle hitch back there and I've hit trees, berms, and concrete without incedent.

Had the same thing happen to me. Now I have a 4" exhaust.
