Is there a trend for rebates and incentives thru the year? I saw a 0% financing ad in the paper and thought my new Ram prayers had been answered. Until I saw the fine print, "Does not include Caravan and Ram pickup vehicles". $%#@!% So close.

I'm told now that the $2000 rebate for the 01's is done and 02's are gearing up. Are there normally Christmas/New Years timeframe rebates or are they only for end-of-year tools to clean out inventory?

If they offer a $1000-2000 rebate in the near future I'll take it! Otherwise I'm looking at waiting until year end closeout.

Sorry, I haven't followed the Ram buying scene long enough to divine trends.

I was told the other day that there is still a $2000 rebate towards all remaining 01 models and the 02 models came out with a $1000 rebate.

If you don't have a truck then now's the time to buy. Car sales for every manufacturer are at a low because of the slow economy and the terrorist happenings. Car manufacturers are giving away the interest or darn near giving it away to get people to buy. Last night I stopped by a Dodge dealer and the salesman said there is currently a $2,000 rebate on the HD trucks... couple that to the fact that every dealer in the Seattle/Puget Sound area is advertising trucks at invoice prices makes it cheap to buy whatever you want.

See that's what I was thinking too. But a quick call to the dealership I want to use says no rebates at all (except the $500 farm bureau) on 02 2500's! So I visited the Dodge web page (4adodge.com) and they show no incentives or rebates for the Ram. Alot of others but nothing for the Ram. I'm wondering what the end-of-year rebates are going to look like if this economy keeps going then. Major savings!

in my area there is a 7-8 thousnd dollar total discount on msrp for all 2001 Ram trucks. I saw a quad cab diesel auto w/trailer package for around $25,000

I just bought a 2002 on 9/24/01. The only incentive available was 0. 9% financing for 24 months or a $500 rebate. The day after I bought mine, both of these incentives were dropped. The good insentives are on everything but the Rams.

If you can wait 30 days before you purchase. Join the Colorado Farm Bearu. Pay $45 for a membership and they will give you a rebate of $500. Best $45 dollars I spent.

You can add this rebate with the factor one.
