rebates and such

Was overhearing two Ford salesman at lunch and they were talking about hearing that rebates and special financing was possible winding down. Said G. M. was entertaining this and if so Ford would follow as Dodge would I'm sure. Thought I'd pass this along.

Quite the contrary... considering April sales. All the "Big 3" sales were down in April. If anything, they may up the ante. About the only thing affecting the rebates and discounts would be several months of robust sales.



I wouldn't put much faith in ANYTHING I heard from a car salesman!!

Dittos Bill. I was told last weekend when I ordered my truck that the incentives get better toward the end of the model year. If they sell them now they won't take a hit on their floorplan and/or have to have a (insert crazy car sale scheme of your choice here) sale to blow out the old units. A friend told me the other day, Thursday I think, that he was told the new incentives were coming out that day. This was the rep you talk to when following status of your ordered truck. We'll see.
