Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Rebuild Manual For NV4500

Anyone know where I might find a manual for an NV4500. I need to replace some seals and syncros in it soon, and I am a big time do it yourselfer, so if anyone knows where I could find a manual maybe like a Haynes or something, I would appreciate it.

Try getting hold of Dodge Service manual usually a lot more detailed and all the info you need is there. Try local dealer parts department.

I have seen one name brand manual with the exact same wording as the Dodge's but they left out a paragraph telling where the timing pin was located.

I am pleased with the Dodge Manual. However I did run into a problem. I ordered the spline socket that it said to use for the main shaft in the NV4500 for my 96 4X4 and it was to small. Seems that they changed it to a larger diameter.

Hey b9mile, is the nv4500 the same on the dodge as it is the GM? If so, I am gonna try to order the book decribed in the passage.

I don't know that its exactly the same as the one in the Dodge. This book has some good pictures in it and other things like power flow diagrams. I don't think it has any actual part #s. Its been a while since I've looked at it. Its a good resource though.
