They also sold me a bushing for the other end (axle). Really should do it. You'll need an angle grinder (I used a 41/2 inch one) to get the old ball joint off. Here is a link with complete pics and step by step rebuild instructions that really helped me:
The link and axle end bushing with shipping cost me about $85. The link is $65 alone. When I did it I followed instructions that came with it and the diagram of the parts showed a shim (washer) being used. Since it was on the diagram I put one in. After calling them they said the shims usually aren't used so... don't put them in. If you follow the 2nd link on "How to install luke link" above, you'll get it right. The shims are there for adjusting if needed.
The link really tightened up my front end steering and eliminated the death wobble. Only problem is it slightly hits my diff cover when flexing but not too bad. If I had more $$$ I would go with the DSS steering stabilizer and a new 2003 bar or (my personal preference for a track bar) the new www.solidsteel.biz heim joint bar.
Lukes link is a cheap alternative and seems to work so far. I called them on a Sunday evening and they answered. Great to work with on the phone.
I replaced my track bar a few K miles ago. After looking at the alternatives I bought a new one at NAPA for $85. 00 with a lifetime replacement warranty. That's hard to beat IMHO
