I bought a Larry B's starter rebuild kit and had taken starter out of truck. when replacing the contacts in the solenoid the bakeolite insulating material around the posts had cracked. one outside piece had completely fallen apart. the inside piece that sticks thru the hole is ok. was wondering what options I have since its the weekend and all starter repair shops are closed. Thanks

Tough luck. I would try epoxy. Don't think there's much stress on that cover, eh.
