My tracloc slips, even after the fluid change. i put in new syn, and no FM. still slips. I've been reading threads about restacking the clutches. Where do I get the clutches?

When i rebuilt my sure grip i got a set of clutches, only had on beville spring clutch on each side. I've read threads where guys put in more than one. How? do the kits have more than one.

Also i just read an old thread that says when you put it in 4 wheel drive the front axle locks togther, so you don't need a LS in the front axle? Is that true? It didn't happen on my truck when i was spinning away in the snow. I'd like to do this ASAP, so anyone know where to get started? thanks

Give Randy's ring and pinion a shout. Have your B. O. M. number ready. (Build of materials on a long tag that attaches between tow diff cover bolts). The new clutch pack ran me $105.

I Had only one preload washer in my unit. I restacked mine and added one of the non active frictions from the old pack, and subtracted a steel from the new pieces. I have a total of 6x6 frictions/steels on each side, with all stacked active. I now have a spool. Previous threads deal with this. I am trying different fluids/friction modifiers to see If I can get it to loosen up a bit. If now, I will be reducing the amount of actives.
