Rebuilding?

I was just curiouse, now that DC doesn't handle parts for our trucks since it's been 10 years, will there be any difficulty in having the engine rebuilt in a 1st gen withing the next few years (and beyond)?

No problem rebuilding the cummins motor as all you do is go direct to Cummins for all the parts, Cummins still carries all parts needed.

Oh, ok... that makes sense. So the only problem I would ever have is replacing a Dodge part.

Actually the only problem you'll have is resisting the urge to use ceramic coated pistons, ported head, high flow exhaust manifold, modified turbo or twins, performance pump, high end injectors, custom ground cam, and all the other goodies to make a six cylinder rocket.....
