Rebuilt my Power Loc and....

WOW what a difference. The clutches and plates were all chewed up and the friction plates were worn out real bad. The truck is SO smooth going around corners now. Before it would kind of grab sort of like the detroit in my jeep. But now you can't even tell its there. Rebuilt it filled it full of dana limited slip oil and mopar gear oil and it works great. I checked all the bearings in the rear as well and for 135,000mi everything looked great, tight backlash and no pits or scoring on the bearings. Dana 70 aren't that bad.....

My previous 93 W350 chattered so bad when I was towing the fifth wheel I blew up the spiders .

My new 93 W250 I noticed is starting to chatter too , I'll be putting some good used steel discs in it insted of those fibre ones though.



By the way whose stroker kit in your YJ ? Hesco ?
