picture posting help!

I have heard that there are a few outboard motor rebuilders located in Florida and Texas that are reliable builders. I am looking for a 200-225 hp engine. Can anyone send me any info on this?

Darrel, Im not a boater, but I know a couple. Will ask around about rebuilders. Usually what you find here in the classifieds or boat traders is used equipment. Most folks seem to buy new and trade in; not sure what happens to the old stuff. Also, you didnt specify a brand. . I do know that most outboard shops here are brand-specific (Merc/Mariner, Johnson, etc. ).

I am by no means an expert on this, but I had a Grady White and it had an 140 hp Evenrude on it. It was fast and reliable.
Eventhough it was a fishing boat, water skiing would not have been a problem.
Was real good on gas too.

Check Ebay regularly. I just sold a 235 Evinrude on there. Only got $1500 for a running engine with a box of extra parts. Might find a deal like that one day.

I bought a new 25HP this past summer from the Outboard Guy over the Internet. I did some checking and found he was Robertson Marine in Salt Lake City. I saved about $800 over my local dealer, and he paid freight. I ordered on a Wednesday and it was delivered to my door the next Monday. He will quote several brands including Yamaha and Mercury.
