Thanks for the heads up but, the link made no mention of what silent armor truck tires and what numbers to look for on the side wall of the tire's?!?!

Just a little back story. In October of 2010 I purchased a set of these tires. They tracked horribly. ( even for a 2002 4X4 CTD ) Also the tires would not balance. #@$%! With a little arguing back and forth The place I bought them they replaced the tires with the same Goodyear tires. With my busy driving season coming, up I don't want any problems especially with the loads I carry!!!!!!!!!!

What I got from the news link was that Goodyear was soon going to be contacting owners directly, assuming of course that the buyer registered the warranty card.

I'd imagine that you could call Goodyear customer service sooner then later to try to find out more specific inof on the recall...

Sorry that I can't be of more help.

I have had three GoodYear Wrangler Silent Armor tire failures over the past couple years. All of them had what I am calling sidewall separation. The inside of each tire had a bulge about the size of your fist. GoodYear pro rated one of them but not the other two. NO MORE GOODYEAR TIRES FOR ME!!
