Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) reccommend a cummins mech Reno/Carson City

I'm on the road and at 150k want to get my valves adjusted before hauling a load to Detroit.
Any good wrenches to recommend?

I can tell you where NOT to go... Reno Dodge... worst dealer I've ever come across. Carson Dodge in Carson City is worth the drive if you're inclined to use dealerships BUT if you're like me and avoid all dealers unless absolutely necessary there is one wrench in Reno that I would recommend. Dynamic Diesel on 1009 Greg St. (take the Mill St exit and go east and turn left on Greg, the first light after the exit) (775) 359-4477 is the main office number,Malinda Cambell is Owner but to call the main wrench James on his cell (775) 745-2515... he's better to deal with. All this info is about a year old, the last time I used them, so it might've changed but I doubt it. Every time I drive by there it seems fairly busy. Good luck.

I try to stay away from dealers, they have done enough damage to my truck.

InterMountain didn't want to, they just wanted to scrape me off the bottom of their shoe, if you get my drift.
