Recirculation Door

Ok need some advice here, my recirc door broke this past weekend. I assure its the recirc door if i remove the blower motor and look up i can see the broken door. Is it best to remove my dash mounted gauge pod and gauges? I'm concerned about them getting damaged, mishandled by the tech if the dash has to be pulled. I have warranty coverage until mid July and the dealer is doing the work.

I had to get mine fixed too. Under warranty, dealer pulled the dash. It has been 20k or 30k miles ago and all is fine. Truck is 2006 3500 megacab.

I have an 03 mine is broke this is a weak part that dodge has had from 02 up you would think that it would had fix it by now!!!!
