Since September 11, all offers have dried up. I can't even get an offer at my present $6500 asking price!

It's worth something to me as a a tax deduction and my peace of mind for not selling it to someone for such a low price that I'll know he's going to consider it a beater!:( :)

Don't be too discouraged yet. I sold my 93 W350 a few weeks ago/ I had it up for sale since about that time also. The only place I advertised is on this site. Anyway, I went through quite a few 'dry spells' not getting any interest,. Then, all of a sudden I got a number of inquiries, and ended up selling it. Maybe just try hangin in there a little longer. At least you've got another truck to drive. I'm stuck with my wife's old 89 Pontiac. 170K miles, runs like a top, great mileage, ultra reliable..... but it's still not a diesel or a truck! Hoping to get a 2nd gen quad cab!

Guess what? My brother called me today and told me that a Christian ministry that trains doctors and medics had their building and equipment wiped out by a volcano. Guess what they need? A truck! I told them about mine and the point person seemed excited but needed to clear it with the board. I suspect they won't want an automatic since automatics are hard to get worked on in third world countries, but we'll see!:D

Cool! Hope it works out. I'm sure they'll appreciate such a tough piece of machinery! I'd bet that diesel or kerosene is easier to get than gasoline in a 3rd world country too. Keep us posted on what happens!

Didn't work out. Overseas ministries need stick shifts, not automatics. Far easier to get parts and labor on nice simple stick shifts in third world countries. I'll give it to a local ministry. :(

Sold it to a guy from Baltimore who will use it to haul a 2-car trailer. He buys and sells muscle cars! I only got six grand for it, but it has a good home and is getting a brand new set of Michellins tommorrow!

It'll probably be on e-Bay soon. He says it's too rough riding for his wife's bad back. They travel together twice a week to car shows to buy muscle cars and then sell them on e-Bay. :p

REAL familiar! I wonder if he hooked up the intercooler and replaced the rear main seal? I know he put a set of Michellins on it! I SHOULD HAVE sold it on e-Bay myself!!!:--)
