Recommeded Gauges

Just wondering what kind of gauges I should get for my rig . Pyro? Temp? What other ones? Thanks

I would do boost, pyro, and fuel pressure.

Definitely get a pyro and boost. The third gen's have have the lift pump problems that the 98-02 24 valves had. It wouldn't hurt anything to have the fuel pressure gauge,though.

I just installed the ISSPRO Boost, Pyro, and Trans temp. and love them. Fuel pressure isn`t nearly as important on a 3rd gen. , but if you plan on BOMBing it, you may want to consider that guage too.

I love gauges. Give lots of info. and if there's a problem you may be able to pinpoint it quickly or prevent it. Let's you know what is going on in your engine. For instance oil temp would go up before oil pressure drops if you had a slow leak. (Had that happen on a GM diesel years ago). So how 'bout this: pyro, boost, fuel press, rail press, a real oil press, (not the stupid facotory one) oil temp, trans oil temp, ammeter :-laf
