I have bought a 2004 turbo diesel 4x4 3500 dually(new). I pull approximately 12,000 lbs around 90% of the time. I have not been happy with the fuel milege while not pulling anything (12mpg) and 9 mpg with the load. This is my first diesel and need some advise on the fuel milege. Do I need a power box, cold air intake box, dual exhaust, etc? P l e a s e h e l p !!!!!!!

I have the same truck as you do (if u have a 6spd and 4. 10's). Mine got a little better than that bone stock (14 empty 10 with 10k lbs). But, I get about 17 on the hwy empty now. I went to 255x70x22. '5 and a Edge box, drop in AFE and 5" straight pipe. Not, the cheapest way to get 3 extra mpg. But, it did work.

You might solve the low fuel mileage problem with the TSB 18-037-04. Many on here have had the TSB done with low mileage like you are reporting and are now seeing much improved mileage.

Power boxes won't help the mileage all that much if any and they can void your warranty depending on the dealer :-{} ... but they will make you :D :--) :D so long as they don't break something.
