I am having some fuel delivery problems with my '99 3500. The problems deal with intermittent boost - sometimes none all all, then later, working regularly - combined with some stumbling upon acceleration. I have a TST 9 stage box, 275hp injectors, Scotti Intake, and Kondolay transmission.

I am trying to locate a reputable mechanic in the LA area, preferably around Santa Monica (but not a problem if not) that can diagnose and fix the problem accurately. I haven't had much luck with the local Dodge dealers and don't want to be taken to the cleaners.

Thanks!

There is also Glen Thomas Dodge in Long Beach.

They have a reputation for knowing our diesels which is why I go (went) there. They did my lift pump recall & installed my southbend clutch. The work was good, but make sure you get the estimate in writing, because they quoted me one price for the clutch job on the phone, and later nailed me for over 200 bucks more because the svc writer forgot to ask me if I had a 4wd.

Anyways, their work is good, and very fast. Just make sure you get a fair deal wherever you decide to go.

Good luck.

Before you go to a dealer or a shop do a little bit of investigation yourself. Remove the TST box and drive the truck. Check fuel pressures at the filter Pre/Post. Change the fuel filter. These little things will take maybe and hour and could save you $$$$ in diagnostic costs. The equipment that the mechanics use for checking this stuff out will not work right with the tst box on the truck. Give it a shot. Those guys in Santa Fe Springs are pretty good. Know their stuff but will badmouth other peoples stuff. Just my experince with them. The are a BD dealer and push that stuff real hard. Good luck and let us know what you found out.
