Hey all,

I have been emailing a dozen shops and looking for as much info as I can to help me pick a new turbo for my truck.

The truck as in the sig below is a 12 ram g56 6.7l. I barely tow more than 5klbs a year now, mostly a daily driver city and highway mixed. Currently studded, fass 150, Valair DD ceramic, deleted and tuned by HPP tuning.

I have read that an s366 or silver bullet 66 would work but might be too small. Ive seen that an s472 would work great but i might need bigger injectors and fueling but not looking to go that route right now.

I am really just looking for a great daily driver turbo. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!!!

I would contact Tom at Turbo ReSource (http://www.turboresource.com/). I got an upgraded stock turbo from him that is awesome -excellent as a daily driver, and tows like a champion (just came back from a 3000mi trip towing the camper - Glacier & Yellowstone). Others in the forum have also used Turbo ReSource.

Here is what I got from the guys at Source Automotive.

1750$ for the: 64/70/.91 divided housing S300
1650$ for the 64/71/.91 divided housing S300 which we currently are out of stock of.

best bang for the buck would be:

1050$ 64/73/.91 divided housing S300

You would be ALOT happier with the last charger listed (73 turbine wheel) than a 400. The 400's smallest turbine wheel is an 83 and a pig to drive compared to a 300 framed charger. Any of these 300's will support the power level you are after and are a joy to drive compared to a 400 based charger. They will all be a let down compared to a properly functioning VGT in odd idle snap.

These 64's are actually 64.5 FMW (Forged Milled Wheel) and the divided .91 housings are all T4 based.
