I always say when you want to really know what a manufacturer thinks of his product go to his web site. That is where I first found the Allison 1000 was torque limited years ago.
Today being a little bored, I went to the Ford and IH sites. I found a very interesting picture on the Ford 650/750 PDF. Under the title "Chow Tme for the Power Hungry" you will find the most beautiful hunk of metal ever dressed in red!
Where is the 6. 4? Maybe they are recycling those 6. 0s IH won't warranty:-laf
Then I went to the IH medium duty site and found a Ford automatic mated to an IH 4. 5 V6. No more 6. 0s there. They do still list the 365 in the MXT with an A2000 transmission. The thing looks like a WW2 vintage Dodge Army truck!
