Yes you can, we run the exact combination on the shop truck. As Tim stated you will only use the RD on the pump wire..... Plug the RD into the MAP and the Comp into the RD. This is a nice setup as it allows you great control over the fueling. If you have any questions just give us a call.

I was hoping the answer would be yes, I'm happy with my Comp Box, just would like to see what a few more RPM's would do for my truck

Ok here is my take on the RD box. If max HP and high rpm are your goal then I would consider the RD box... . The box when stacked with a timing box produces about 10-20 more HP than a Hot Drag Comp. But where this box shines is its ability to allow for additional rpm. If you are a drag racer or puller and have a high HP truck you will benefit from the added rpm.

The box is not a "street nice" as the comp box is though. It will set a check engine ligh at high rpm or fueling. It does have a slight shudder under light throttle at around 2800 rpm.

Remember guys this box was designed for all out performance and really isn't the ideal setup for a everyday driver/hauler. Not that you can't use one for everyday use (heck I do) but its just not a smooth as the Comp.

its my understanding that the valvetrain doesnt "like" this added rpm either

You are correct in the "stock" valvetrain does not like the added rpm. But the valvesprings can be upgraded so increase rpm is not a problem :D

I appreciate your info Doug. We've upgraded the valvetrain and cam. HP is still climbing at 3200RPM so we'd like to see what COULD be happening up above that. We'll try it out and see. David
