Hi All,

Well, I have seen that alot of you use Amsoil products. I have just sent away for the info on becoming a dealer. However, I am curious if any of you have used Red Line Synthetic, and if you have any comments on the product besides it being expensive. I changed my transmission oil at 27k and switched to the Red Line Synthetic. It seems fine, but now I'm thinking about switching my whole drive train to synthetic... . just what kind? I have used Red Line in my past gas engines and I like their product very much, but Amsoil has gotten my attention since so many of you use it. I also have a pair of Cummins 903 naturals in my boat. I am thinking about switching to a synthetic... been running boats for thirty years and this would be a first! Any experiences good or bad?

Thank you all and Thanks for the welcome on other postings to the TDR group!

I switched to Redline Syn in my rear end. Call Redline to be sure you get the correct product. You will be real suprised when you remove the cover, and sorry you didn't change oil sooner. The OE oil is double funky - foamy and dirty. I did do the 140 because I tow some. Do Redline and do the job for 1/2 the cost of AmsOil is my advice.
