Sad Ford Story

Three Kelderman Trucks in town yesterday

Those are amusing - and thanks for posting - but those "drags" are ALL about traction, and have only a portion of relevance as to actual truck power...

Take 1000 lbs. first in the back of ONE truck, then switch, and I'll pretty much guarantee you the win will follow the weight... ;) :D

I found it over at TDS. . Of course they don't much care for it over there. They claim that it's very dangerous and many peoples lives were endangered by such an idiotic act.

I agree it's all about traction, and it must be true because there is a guy over there at TDS who claims he saw a Ford 300 I6 pull a Cummins down the road.

That was awsome! I got both of those on my video, and I watch it every time I dub one for someone..... it NEVER gets old! Oo. :D :-laf

LOL Saw that in person from the field and just watched it twice it just dosent get old

Hey Partsman, can you give any more details about this?? The guys over at TDS are saying the Ford is a 2wd (even though there is a huge 4x4 sticker on the bed) and another guy is claiming that the Dodge had 1900lbs of tractor weights in the bed. . I'm not saying this is untrue, but I don't think anyone can tell just from the video... I can't see anyone wanting to put a 2wd truck up against a 4x4 with tractor weights on it, sounds like a BS excuse to me to me. . :-laf

Yes that took place on saturday night up in plainsfield behind the AmeriHost hotel... The guy in the ford was the one who instigated it. . He was sitting in the street for 10 minutes with the strap laid out while other trucks were doing burnouts/smokeouts past him... . The ford is a 4x4. . the first pull he claims he thought it was in 4 wheel drive. . second time he made sure. . The only thing the dodge had in the bed was a few lawn chairs if I remember correctly (lots of beer was consumed that night)... The dodge dynoed at approx 358 hp on saturday. . Not sure about the ford... . Reguardless of what the conditions of the pull were... It was still awsome to watch and shut a few of the more vocal diehard ford fans up. . thankfully

I was there as well... . It was funny to watch in person. The dood with the Ford was a moron. He has been doing burn outs and trying to do 180's in the street when he blew a tire off the bead... . then proceeded to leave the truck sit in the street! He got the tire blown back up and then started talkin smack again. It's to bad Cooter Bob was putting on intercooler boots on his truck... he REALLY wanted to yank that Ford around!

Josh

Josh, lol on the Cooter bob thing, he lives by the saying "drive it like you stole it" LOL, gotta love the 4th gear dually burnouts!

You bet! Just a warning, it's like kicking a bee hive in all black clothing when you go over there. If you join (it's free) leave the word "Dodge" out of your signature and it will save you a lot of verbal abuse from some of the diehards.

I didn't realize DTS and the dieselstop was one in the same, I visit the dieselstop from time to time but I just read the posts :-laf
