Competition Truck Pull in West Alexandria, PA

I got a phone call today, asking why I hadn't abused Shawn yet, so, due to popular demand... ... ...

Sunday night, Geauga County Fair.

Sticky clay track. Redram pulled before me. The satan tires I sold him struck again, and did their job-sticking like glue, and blowing his clutch away for a 100 feet, before he finally quit.

Hehehe.

Old Sleddy then proceeds to drop TWO gears, crank some Rs and give a nice little flame show for my fans, as I walk away with the victory, in front of dumper boy and Johnboy, also. 296 feet.

Labor Day night, The Great Stoneboro Fair, Awesome pull!

Shawn has the satan tires again, a floating finish, off he goes!! Out around the turn at the end!350 feet!!

Uh-oh, he was flagged to a stop, and was a floater. Hhhhmmm... So I have to beat him, to get into a pull off, since he blew away the flaggers "safety zone. "

Right at 4200, I let the clutch out and headed for the orange cone.

353 and a red flag. STILL CRUISING!!! Heheheh!

Pull off, I put about 10 feet on him at 328. Revenge for 2 years ago, when we were pulling exhibition there, and he beat me. My journey is complete!!

Tuesday, Waterford fair, he pulled first again, and as always I looked for his leader cone.

He stood right there, and I gave him a big "Sled Puller is about to crush you" grin, as I pulled by his leader cone.

The flagger said, "You got him!"

I said of course I did, I clutched it as I went past the cone!! ROTFLMAO!!!! :--) ;) :D

What a year, we had a blast, and thanks for letting me borrow that turbo, Redram!!

Speaking of Dean, he dittoed this reply on another site about me:

"His truck was and is one of the best running true streetable diesels on the planet and his list of wins and consistency prove that. Sled pullers actions also speak louder then(ok. . at least as loud) as his words. He is actively involved in the DHRA and has really helped to promote the sport and institute fair rules and uphold those rules.

Well Said!!! "

Steienl is also a consistent street truck that beat me once this year also. :{

... ... ... as does the swelling.

You did have a couple of great hooks, but no need for me to elaborate on them any further, since you did a great job of that already, ya freak.

Have you finished carving that statue of yourself yet? I bet the people of Stoneboro can't wait. :p

Other than your self-expected 1st place finish in Waterford, who else placed where?

Rob

Well, it's not actually a carving, it's more or less a conglomeration of Amsoil jugs, broken truck parts, and old ball caps that don't fit his head anymore... ... . should be a real eye catcher. :p

Rob

Hey He has put Stoneboro PA on the map as the home of the one and only (thank god only one) Sled Puller... ... Sled Jerk to his close friends. He is truly a legend in his own mind if not others. If he really wanted to further the truck pulling sport as a brand neutral sport he would buy a Ford and start his long trek to the top again. ... ... ... ..... LOL

Craig

Ya know Severs, I have been considering that very thing, with a Duramax(Fords are hopeless) until you said, "long trek to the top again"

I ain't fer sure I'm that ambitious, that was a lot of work.

Why don't one of you hucklebucks buy this truck so I can retire?

Craig was just telling me that you were to much of a girl to pull against him in October at EEP's. He went on to say, if'n you did bring the red flammer down to pull, and you beat him, then he would buy your truck, even pay the 45k you drempt up a while back.

However, if he, or anyone else won, you have to shut the hell up for a whole month. LOL

Gene did forget to mention (toot his horn about) one thing... ... . he does have a building named after him at the Great Stoneboro Fair grounds, figures it's the stock pen though. :p

Back to the thread, who were in the top ten?

Rob

ahh... ... ... ... whats a hucklebuck??? Is that a "easterners" term for a lame deer?? Maybe you ment huckleberry??
