Reflash for in-tank lift pump retrofit

Hi all,



After carrying around a spare factory lift pump for a couple years, I was finally forced to use it last year.



Since then a part-time employee at my favorite gun shop who also doubles as a Mopar tech supplied me with an in-tank retrofit kit. So this Saturday was the install, and everything went fantastic, aside from me having to call him re: the location of the harness to tap and the need for the reflash. He told me that they have reflashed and not reflashed trucks with the retrofit. None of the non-reflashed trucks have ever had an issue. I didn't want to keep him on the phone as he was busy, so I didn't ask him what the reflash changes.



So my question is... does anyone know exactly what the reflash changes?
 
I've altered an 03, an 04, and I think it was an 04. 5 and my 05 had the new kit... .

We installed the 3 kits with no change to the trucks by the dealer.....

Its plug and play...
 
Probably the horn in reverse if the door's open flash... ...



I recently had my local dealer install the in tank lift pump kit in my truck and the ECM re-flashed. The horn doesn't honk when the door is open and the transmission in reverse. I have never had that recall (ECM flash) done. . and will not have it done.

My 03 has the in tank fuel pump mod. When testing out the electrical for getting ready to fire up the new engine I noticed that the added on relay was "clicking". We put a test light on it and it pulses also. Is this normal? Does anyone know what the 4 wires are for? A ground, a power, and ??

I checked my relay. It doesn't click on and off before I start the engine or when the engine is running. The in tank pump is running continuously.
