A couple of days ago I hitched-up my 32ft gooseneck trailer and was very disappointed with the acceleration of the truck, The flat spot at 2000 rpm was very noticeable and the engine would get a mild shake if I pushed it.
Today I had the dealer reflash the ecm per the TSB and proceeded to hitch-up the trailer when I got home and took it for a ride the results are
The truck now pulls strong & smooth from idle to 3000 rpm no engine shudder or flat spot to be found.
I do not believe there were any ill affects from the reflash, now all I have to do is Check the mileage empty to see if it has improved
