Not wanting to start any wars, but I was wondering which cab would get better fuel mileage as a rule of thumb, empty highway driving. Same bed / transmission/ drive tran. Or theres not a difference?
given the same drivetrain the smaller cab meaning less weight will require less power. My truck weighed in at 6560lbs I average 17-19 mixed driving and higher for long road trips
theory will show the lighter vechile will get better mpg if the two are identical. There are lots of variables, tires, tuners, engine oil, tire pressure, gearing, lift etc etc etc
