My Truck: 2013 6.7l Tradesman 80K miles (I bought pre-owned)

I drove my truck to church this morning and while turning into the parking lot, I heard a ding then saw the Exhaust Regeneration - filter 100% message. After church, I had to make a quick stop then figured I would drive some highway miles to let it regen. After the quick stop, the check engine light came on. I have driven the truck 100 miles since (two 50 mile (70mph) highway trips) and no change. Still have check engine light and Regen. Message.

Thanks in advance for any help and direction!

If you have a fault, meaning a check engine light, it's not going to light off. Get to a dealer or someplace to get the fault read. soon.

Update: Just got back home and went out and started the truck. Same CEL and Regen. message, as expected. I drove the truck up the road and within 2 minutes, I got the Regen at 90% message and so on until it got to 60% then the message stated Regen. was completed. CEL was still on so I pulled over and turned off the truck. Waited about a minute and restarted it. CEL went out and no sign of ever being an issue. I am clueless of what took place. A 100 mile round trip didn't change a thing but 3 hours sitting then a 5 mile trip ran the Regen. and cleared the CEL.

Glad it appears to be fixed but confused as to what changed in it sitting 3 hours.
