2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Reinstalling fan

I am going to put the fan back in my truck and wasn't sure how tight to tighten it. Does it tighten on its own because of the left hand threads?

When I put mine back on I just snug down the big nut, makes it a lot easier to get off the next time

Thanks for the replies. I got it back in and just tightened the nut till the belt slipped and wouldn't let me tighten any more.
