Hi all
Began having trouble with radio staying on even with key out, so pulled the radio fuse to keep batteries from draining. Worked OK, but something else kept draining the batteries as well. I heard a relay clicking in the drivers side fuse panel but couldn't tell which one it was. According to the diagrams there is a time delay relay for some of the circuits. I'm thinking this is the one that's fried. Can anyone tell me which one it is? It's not marked on the fuse cover.
Last time I charged the batteries and started the truck, the electrical connector under the driver's seat caught fire, most likely due to this short. I've been too busy with work to get a look at it since, and the truck is laid up. About a dozen wires connected at this point. Some went to the driver's seat control motors, the rest went towards the passenger seat. Would this be going to the ECM? Once I find the short or bad relay, I'm gonna have to replace the burned out connector. Any ideas on where to get one?
Thanks for any info
