Wondering who out there has a set of these on their truck and how they like them. I guess that some of the people that I have talked with really like them. Anyone out there care to comment of these. I guess that you use the stock turbo with the kit. On there web site relentlessdiesel.com they say they have a huge exhaust reduction. Anyway just wondering!

Thanks

I dont have them, but all I have seen out of them is greatness. Chris wouldnt use something that dosent do great things.

yes, the stock turbo is the top turbo in that setup, I have seen some pretty quick trucks on their website with those twins

I wish to know also. You can drive yourself crazy looking at different twin turbo combinations. They seem like a nice alternative and almost 1/2 the price of other twin turbo kits

Isn't the stock turbo a bit restrictive on the exhaust side? I'm thinking it will still tend to choke flow at higher RPM.

Thats what most people would think with the stocker on top and no external wastegates on the hot side. But there have been to much proof of these kits working in the 800+HP range and low 11 second 1/4 mile runs mainly by RC Cox. IMO most twin setups are overenginered and our motors dont need the amount of air that they push, this kit has proven itself in my book.

There was a long thread discussing the wastegate situation, it's been awhile ago. Maybe someone could dig it up. I think in that thread someone measured drive pressure.

Some are, some aren't! Chris has done well with that setup, and R/C has pulled out 818hp with them at some lowly boost number like 58.

Industrial Injection as a set of Towing Twins that uses a SPS 62 and a Modded K31 on the bottom utilizing the internal gate of the 62, just like I did on my 66/BB combo. Probably the best overall sized Twins for Towing or Street use.

As said before this topic has been discussed in detail. In my opinion there are many great twin sets out there. The artic airs where designed to be affordable, thats why chris uses the stock turbo. Dont get mixed up with the drive pressure and small housing debates everyone wants to make. I ran the artic airs for over 2 years and for the money nothing is comparable. The spool was good and egt's stayed in the 1250 range until I got real crazy with fuel. I am now running a bigger set of twins,I had to for the power numbers I am after now,but I would still recommend the AA's for anyone wanting twins.

I just saw II's twin turbo setup. They have one for street which is a modified silver bullit and a big brother. That sounds a bit laggy off the line to me. Those are pretty big turbos

I just drove a P-Pumped 24v with the SPS62/K31 combo, pretty fast spoolup at around 1800 or so and very good cooling. Made my 66 look like it wasnt even spinning on the big end compared to the cooling, plus it was slightly faster to get to lite.
