Reliable Repairs near Cincinnati ?

I just got the dreaded "DEF Service required; see dealer." Tried fresh DEF and resetting codes but no joy; countdown continues. I have had trucks at 2 local dealers in the past and they proved to be more inept than could be tolerated. I don't mind paying for repairs but I don't care for the "Ram Specialist" who spent 4 hours drilling holes in my dash for a batwing toggle switch just to add factory fog lamps because he wasn't aware that the wiring harness already had fog light connections and he just needed to add the proper headlamp switch. So. . . .
Looking for recommendations on where to have someone repair my truck without replacing every part in the system till he stumbles over the right one.
