I made a mistake, ordered vulcan big line kit for my 12valve

my thought was that the fittings would make it easy to add

my fuel gauge and just generally easy, know I don't need them for the hp

already cut into my overflow line on the fuel filter intake, so I"m kind of committed. .

fittings are way too big, so if I keep these fittings, I think I'd move my fuel filter

where would you suggest I move it to?

another pia about this kit is that the fittings for the lift pump outlet do not fit the space, part of the engine is too close to the fitting for the hose barb, so it won't thread on...

I'm really bummed, thought my truck would be ready this weekend, this is the worst thing I've done...

I relocated mine to on the frame behind the transfer case, also am using a 33406 wix filter and mount. 5mic with water sep, used on most big cats and cummins, ordered the base from kenworth using the vin from one of our rigs. Made the lines up myself, I know it's a lot of back and fourth, tank to mechanical lp back to filter then to pump, however I would do it again in a heartbeat. Mine is a little different being a p-pumped 24 valve, but it basically the same. With the 33406 it hangs below the frame about 3" however the shorter version of the same filter "33407" is even with the frame. The long and the short is, filter changes are easy now. :)

What year is your truck? '94 to '96 have a spin on fuel filter. '97 and '98 have canister fuel filters.
